The sign for LAW COURTS is made with one hand in the shape of a fist with palm facing downwards, as though holding a hammer. The hand moves abruptly downwards twice from the wrist. This reminds one of the magistrate using his hammer in the courtroom.
Occasionally, the sign for ESTABLISHMENT precedes. This is made with both hands in the shape of 1 with palms facing outwards. The index fingers touch and then move away to the side and then downwards to form right angles.
